Ways to donate.
The Thriving Community fund is our flagship fund operating with community at the centre and building for the long-term to create change that lasts. We warmly welcome contributions of any size as together we are stronger. This fund supports a diverse range of projects across the six pillars, guided by community insight, engagement, and locally identified priorities.
A contribution can be more than just monetary. An in-kind contribution is a donation of goods or services other than cash. Examples of in-kind contributions can include donated items, professional services, and office supplies. Because a service is provided free (e.g. volunteer) or money has already been spent to purchase goods (Goods were not purchased for the Foundation, they already existed and were then donated).
Some donors may also wish to provide a tax-deductible donation for a ‘same-year flow-through gift’ for a particularly pressing local issue or current projects of a charitable nature.
Volunteering is a great way to contribute and gives you something positive to do for your community. Volunteering also gives you an opportunity to meet new people and gain new skills and experience. With many volunteer opportunities available in the Yarra Valley, you’re sure to find something suitable for you.
A bequest is a gift left in a will, and it allows you to have a lasting impact where it matters most to you. Bequests are one of the most meaningful decisions you can make. It doesn’t matter how large or small, your gift helps us to continue to support the community.

Yes, we expect to have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) tax status very soon. Donations over $2 will be tax-deductible. Receipts will be issued.
